Our Story

We understand how it is trying to lose some weight, we started from somewhere and we got to this point. We hope our story will send the right message.

Gus Olaneye, Co-founder

Growing up in Nigeria, the last thing you want is being called fat. Although this was my reality at the time, I always had a clear image of how I would like to look and feel. In 2013, I was diagnosed with sleep apnea. Sleep apnea untreated can lead to heart attack, heart arrhythmias, and strokes. In short, untreated sleep apnea can kill you.

I was told by my doctor that the condition is incurable, but it can be managed using a breathing assistant device at night. He also suggests that weight loss also helps reduce the symptoms. I came across indoor cycling and I fell in love with it. I have lost a total of 9 stones (57KG), and I lost half of that having fun. I no longer use a breathing assisted machine at night, and my doctor has given me an all-clear, meaning I no longer suffer from sleep apnea. Whatever your current situation is, you can change your narrative.

Titi Talabi, Co-founder

Titi is a corporate lawyer who fell in love in with cycling after learning how to ride a bicycle as an adult, in response to a high blood pressure diagnosis in 2017. Unfortunately in June 2018, she had a terrifying accident while cycling on Third Mainland Bridge – which until 1996, was the longest bridge in Africa. Undaunted, her love for cycling remained steadfast but she realized that the perceived dangers of road cycling was a barrier preventing most people from getting the significant health benefit of cycling.

Notwithstanding that she came upon fitness as a lifestyle a little later than most, Titi is firm believer that fitness empowers everyone to thrive and she is proof of this belief. Titi shares a growing love for fitness and a healthy lifestyle with her partner, Gus. She is a keen cyclist, budding runner with a dream of someday completing a triathlon.
